The Journey of Contentment and Thankfulness...

I can not even begin to express how thankful I am for the friends God has placed in my life this past year and a half living in San Antonio.  It has been amazing to see how the Lord provides for his children and how He prepares us for the perfect plan that he has for our lives.  Looking back on the time I have spent in San Antonio it has been so neat to see how many prayers the Lord has answered.  I have made the best friends of all ages who have really encouraged me in my walk with the Lord after moving here knowing no one.  It is really kind of funny how God works sometimes... Moving here for a job which was full of trials in itself, I learned a lot about myself, the business world, and all types of people.  It is funny how the reason I moved here was for the job, yet God used that job as a way of bringing me here to meet the people I have and prepare me for what is yet to come in Peru.  I have continued to have confirmation about my mission trip to Peru by the people God has put in my life and the total support needed to be raised being met in 1 month!  Praise the Lord! People always told me that God will provide... and He really does!  The past few days I have been filled with an incredible amount of joy as I am so thankful for the time I have had here in San Antonio and looking forward to the adventure that God has paved the way for me to go to Cusco, Peru.  I have absolutely loved my time being here in San Antonio and it will be a bitter sweet time when I leave...  I think it is a good place to be in when it is hard to leave where you are because of the blessings God has provided.  I know God will provide what I need in Peru and I am so excited about what God is doing over there!  This is a picture at my going away party of some of my sweet San Antonio friends who I will miss dearly!!
